Kelvinator was a home appliance manufacturer which was founded in 1914 but went defunct in 1989 and it is now a brand name owned by A.B. Electrolux of Sweden.

Kelvinator derived its name from William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin, who developed the concept of absolute zero and for whom the Kelvin temperature scale is named as the name was thought appropriate for a company which manufactured ice-boxes and domestic refrigerators.
