Phonup was founded by Gerardo Taglianetti in Italy. The brand has been operating since 2009 and they are specialized in refurbishing and selling second hand, unboxed mobile phones. From the year 2010, the online service has been started by the brand for buying and selling both second hand and refurbished mobiles or tablets. The company also started franchising for development and franchise outlets mainly focus on buying and reselling the  pre-owned mobiles as well as tablets with 12 months of warranty.
