Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Franchise

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection also named IBPS was launched in 2012 with an aim to motivate young graduates for placement and recruitment in government sector banks in India. 

 

IBPS conducts the exams online for the post of Specialist Officer, Clerk posts, Management trainee, Probationary officer, and RRB officer in numerous participating banks for the recruitment. The vacancy information is announced timely in line with the supply of the participating banks. 

 

Rather than writing individual exams conducted by banks, a typical exam has been conducted and this method is termed the Common Written Examination and it’s shortly called CWE. There are various exams for various cadres like CWE PO/MT is for the Probationary Officer position and Management trainee position, Specialist Officer exams are conducted for the Specialist Officer positions, CWE Clerk exam is for the Clerical positions and RRB Officer exam is for the choice of office assistants and officers to Regional Rural Banks which is run by NABARD.
